Romans 8:18-23 TPT I am convinced that any suffering we endure is less than nothing compared to the magnitude of glory that is about to be unveiled within us. The entire universe is standing on tiptoe, yearning to see the unveiling of God's glorious sons and daughters! For against its will the universe itself has had to endure the empty futility resulting from the consequences of human sin. But now, with eager expectation, all creation longs for freedom from its slavery to decay and to experience with us the wonderful freedom coming to God's children. To this day we are aware of the universal agony and groaning of creation, as if it were in the contractions of labor for childbirth.
Verse 23 And it's not just creation. We who have already experienced the first fruits of the Spirit also inwardly groan as we passionately long to experience our full status as God's sons and daughters - including our physical bodies being transformed.
We are living in the last of the last days. It is our responsibility to help bring to fulfilment all that Father God has planned for the end of the ages. Surely all the signs are in the sky, in the earth, and in the supernatural realm that the trumpet of the Lord could sound at any moment now. The world calls these signs 'global warming' but we believers have expected an increase of these events, because God warned us they would happen at the end of the age, just before Christ's return.
The earth itself is groaning and the birth pangs are evident. We believers often also experience these same groanings of the Spirit as we pray and intercede for the ones the Father places on our hearts. These events are a wake up call to tell us to get ready for our soon departure. Have you got your wake up call yet?
Luke 21:28 King James 2000 Bible When these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draws near.
I pray that we have not only prepared our own hearts for what's ahead but that we are also getting everyone around us ready too. May we all be in unity, with a boldness of Spirit to win more souls and bring home more prodigals than we ever have at any time in the church. We cannot do it without trusting God and walking by faith, so let’s do it!
Ephesians 5:14 AMPC Therefore, He says, Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall shine (make day dawn) upon you and give you light.
I pray we continue to keep Jesus and His ministry first. Our prayers are with you for protection and boldness, thanks for standing with us in these days.
