Our God is ABLE!

I was looking at the phrase "He is able" and thought you might enjoy this short study.

Daniel 3:17 The God we serve He is able to deliver us.

Daniel 4:37 "Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise, exalt and honour the King of heaven, for all His works are true and His ways just, and He is able to humble those who walk in pride."

Romans 4:21 ...and being fully assured that what God had promised, He was able also to perform.

Romans 16:25 Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ,

2 Cor 1:4 who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

2 Cor 9:8 God is able to make all grace abound toward you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed.

Heb 2:18 He is able to aid those who are tempted.

Heb 7:25 Therefore He is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.

Jude 24 Now unto Him who is able to keep you from stumbling.

Philippians 3:21 ...according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.

Ephesians 3:20 Now unto Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.

This same power is at work in us right now; He is still able!

It's the same power that calmed the wind and waves on the Sea of Galilee when Jesus spoke to the storm.

It's the same power that caused Lazarus to come out of the tomb, even though he was bound by grave clothes and had been dead for four days.

It's the same power that healed ALL those who came to the Lord on the hillsides of Judea.

It's the same power that multiplied the loaves and fishes to feed thousands.

It's the same power that cast out devils and defeated ALL the works of evil.

It's the same power that raised Christ from the tomb in spite of the fact that His body had been lacerated, tortured and all his bones put out of joint just three days before.

  • He is ABLE
  • He is ABLE to do
  • He is ABLE to do exceeding
  • He is ABLE to do exceeding abundantly
  • He is ABLE to do exceeding abundantly above and beyond
  • He is ABLE to do exceeding abundantly above and beyond all we can ask
  • He is ABLE to do exceeding abundantly above and beyond all we can ask or think
  • He is ABLE to do exceeding abundantly above and beyond all we can ask or think, pray or imagine!

God is able to do all this according to the power that is, right now, at work in each of us who believe Him!

His enabling power is in His Word. When we speak His Word in faith, we release His power to achieve what it is we need because He is still able, and through Him, we are able too! What a mighty God we serve, praise Him forever!

Have a wonderful week.
