God Wants to Bless You!

Posted By at Wednesday, September 28, 2016

Ephesians 3:20 Amplified Bible Now to Him Who by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams].

God wants to bless you far more than you want to be blessed. His plan is for your success in every area of your life. Just learn to trust Him over the circumstances.

John 10:10 The Message Version I came so they can have real and eternal life, more and better life than they ever dreamed of.

Proverbs 10:22 It is the blessing of the LORD that makes rich, and He adds no sorrow to it.

God is certainly not against you having money, but he is against you letting money control your life every day. God does not want you to worry about money or make money the first priority in your life. He wants you to put your trust in Him first and then He will make sure you have enough to do all He requires you to do.

Why do you think God is like this?

It is because He knows money even under the control of the world system is a good servant but a terrible master?

The power of money is limited and eventually runs out, it will only buy so much and go so far. But God can supply all your needs according to His riches in glory.

Money can buy medicine but cannot cure an incurable disease! But God can heal the incurable disease!

Money can buy a house but not make it a home! But God can make it a happy home if you let Him!

Jeremiah 29:11 Tells us His plan is for us to have the best.

He wants all our needs met so we have more than enough for ourselves and enough left over to bless others too.

Matthew 6:24 Living Bible You cannot serve two masters: God and money. For you will hate one and love the other, or else the other way around.

Matthew 6:33 New Living Translation Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.

So make God your #1 priority and you’ll find everything else will fall into its rightful place in Him.

Believe it, expect it and you'll experience it!

Faith is Available to All!

Posted By at Wednesday, September 21, 2016

Faith is available to all who will come to Jesus and accept Him. God actually gives the unsaved person faith by the Holy Spirit to believe in the resurrection, so you have to believe God can raise the dead in order to be saved.

Romans 10:9-10 That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

There are many forms of power in the universe which have been there since creation. These powers have just not been harnessed, simply because we have lacked the knowledge to utilize them.

Electricity has always been available but has only been harnessed during the last few centuries. The power, the force, was there but man had to learn how to control it. When he did, it became his servant.

God said in Genesis 1:28 Subdue the earth and have dominion over it.

Faith has been there from the beginning. The earth was created by faith. Moses taught faith. The Prophets of old preached faith. Jesus demonstrated faith and the disciples had faith.

Paul gives us all the insight we need to know where faith comes from, how to develop faith, how to store faith, how to conduct faith and how to release faith to achieve the results we desire. Faith has its origins in God Himself.

Hebrews 12:2 Jesus is both the Author and the Finisher of our faith.

Paul says that in Romans 11:36 “Of Him, through Him and to Him are all things.”

John 1:1 In the beginning was The Word, The Word was with God and The Word was God.

John 1:14 And The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of The Father full of grace and truth.

John 13:3 Jesus came from The Father lived by The Father and returned to The Father.

When God gave His Word, He said in Isaiah 55:11 "So shall my Word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it."

God sent His Word [Jesus] and it [Jesus] did everything according to The Father's instructions!

Get your faith active today and see God do great things for you!

Keep Strife Out!

Posted By at Wednesday, September 14, 2016

Strife is defined as 'conflict… struggle… rivalry' and God's Word says to avoid it at all cost. Philippians 2:3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

Strife is custom designed by the devil to play havoc in churches, businesses, marriages and relationships. It stems from self-centered ego and leads to comparing, competing and condemning.

The Word of God says in James 3:16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

I know of ministries who have a rule that if anyone is causing strife, their employment with that ministry is terminated!

Keeping strife out of your life means recognising and uprooting it before it grows. Hebrews 12:15 Complete Jewish Bible See to it that no...that no root of bitterness springing up causes trouble and thus contaminates many.

Apostle Paul adds in Phil 2:2 Amplified Bible 'Complete my joy by living in harmony… being of the same mind… having the same love…

Enjoying God's blessings requires doing all we can to live in harmony with one another.

Is that an easy thing to do? No, but the sooner you learn it, the better things will be.

When David saw Goliath he didn't stop to consider the odds or listen to the opinions of others.

It says in 1 Samuel 17:48 'When Goliath started forward, David ran toward him.'

A rapid response is needed here. When God prompts you to turn the other cheek or take the short end of the stick, draw on His grace and do it. In fact, when you do it on your timetable you end up doing it in your own strength. To accomplish that, you should:

  1. Forgive those who hurt you
  2. Pray for them
  3. Bless them by speaking well of them and desire good things for them

You need commitment to walk each day in love and forgiveness, (yes, it's a daily commitment!), and it will open the door to God's blessing in your life.

You Can Have Strong Faith

Posted By at Wednesday, September 07, 2016

Job 19:25 Easy To Read Version "I know that there is someone to defend me and that he lives! And in the end, He will stand here on earth and defend me."

Faith in Jesus Christ, when it is a genuine faith, is one of the strongest forces known to the human race. In fact, it’s possible to possess a faith that is, for all practical purposes, so strong, it is incapable of being overcome or defeated - even unconquerable.

Strong faith, however, is not merely the intellectual acceptance of the fact that Jesus is the Son of God. No, the power to withstand great hardship comes from believing that, as the Son of God, Jesus Christ has already gained complete victory over every form of evil and injustice. The person who truly believes that will not be defeated by anything that happens in the earth while waiting The Lord’s return.

Toward the end of Revelation, we have this description of one of John's visions: Revelation 19:11-16 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called the Word of God. And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Strong faith comes, not from finding a way to be unconquerable in ourselves, but from disciplining our minds to believe in the fact our Saviour and the Captain of our Salvation was not conquered, He was not defeated at any quarter; because He totally defeated Satan and this truth is well attested by everything that has ever been known about Him.

Heb 2:14 In as much then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil.

When we face off some temporary opposition, we should choose to believe that the ultimate victory will be ours in Christ, then we live by His faith [Galatians 2:20] that the devil can do nothing to deal with. Then, it is to us that Jesus Christ says in Revelation 3:21 To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.

So develop that strong faith and be victorious in Christ's faith.
