You Are Unbeatable In Christ

Posted By at Wednesday, July 30, 2014

Perhaps you know some unbeatable people? They are people that expect great things to happen in their life and see them come to pass. It takes somebody to have faith and somebody who will believe that God will come through to be like that. We have to make a choice to believe God’s Word and not the devil’s lies; we choose to recognize that we can depend on God.

We had a lot of rain over the last few weeks; some days it began to feel like it would never stop. Sometimes it feels a bit like that in our life too! The rain just keeps on coming and coming and it seems it will never stop, but you know what? The rain showers will bring spring flowers. So there is always a bright side to every situation.

I heard a song one time it was called, I think: The Sun Shines Always After The Rain.

Jesus did not go through all that suffering so that you could have problems in your marriage, problems with your children, problems with your finances, confused families and all that. Jesus suffered so that we could have a victorious life and family and wonderful kids that do great things in life for God. He didn’t create us so that we could live just 'on accident' and that we would make our life just an insignificant amount of time on this earth. We are not to be continuing victims, but we are overcomers in Christ. We are more than conquerors in Him.

God didn’t give us the ability for just breathing; He gave us a much bigger opportunity than that. He has put His unbeatable spirit on the inside of us. Can you get excited about that?

Here is a great truth, like I said, we weren’t created to live just a defeated life; but yet on the other hand Jesus said that there would be storms!

John 16:33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.

You know, I believe that when we realize that we have that unbeatable Spirit living on the inside of us, boldness can take over. It is no longer our words, but God’s Word in our mouth. It is no longer our spirit, but it is the Spirit of God coming out of the inside of us, overflowing into our own life and in the lives of others.

In Matt 7:24-27 Jesus said: “So everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts upon them [obeying them] will be like a sensible (prudent, practical, wise) man who built his house upon the rock. And the rain fell and the floods came and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. And everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not do them will be like a stupid (foolish) man who built his house upon the sand. And the rain fell and the floods came and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell–and great and complete was the fall of it."

Jesus is saying here that the storm comes against the righteous and the unrighteous. Just because you are a Christian doesn’t mean that the wind is not going to blow and the rivers won’t run and the rain won’t fall and it won’t beat against your house. Just because you are a Christian doesn’t exempt you from storms in your life. But there is good news! The good news is that we are more than conquerors and we are made unbeatable in Christ. He always causes us to triumph no matter what is happening or no matter how painful the situation is.

1 Cor 15:57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Cor 2:14 Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.

Let me say again when you understand you have the unbeatable Spirit of God living on the inside of you boldness takes over! In Christ you are unbeatable.

Jesus is the Healer

Posted By at Wednesday, July 23, 2014

The purpose of this weeks Faith Booster is to help you know that health and healing is available to all who will believe God’s Word. Ask the Holy Spirit to illuminate God’s Word to you because He is The Teacher who will guide you into all truth.

All the knowledge you have gained from life through school, life experience, etc. has been via your five senses, and is limited to your sense realm. These five senses are what the average person uses to make their way through life: HEARING; SMELLING; TASTING; FEELING; SEEING

These five senses are known as SENSE KNOWLEDGE, and it is not spiritual at all.

1 Corinthians 2:14 NKJV But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

However, there is another kind of knowledge and it is called REVELATION KNOWLEDGE.

God is a Spirit; John 4:24 NKJV God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.

Man, who is made in the likeness and image of God, is also a spirit but he lives in a body and thinks with his soul [mind, will, emotions etc.]

However, God only communicates with the spirit of man as it is the candle of The Lord as Proverbs 20:27 tells us.

God wants to reveal TRUTH to us through the power of His Holy Spirit.

John 14:16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counsellor to be with you forever.

17 The Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.

John 15:26 When the Counsellor comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father, he will testify about me.

27 And you also must testify, for you have been with me from the beginning.

John 16:13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.

14 He will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you.

15 All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will take from what is mine and make it known to you.

To live a successful and healthy life today you need to be led by God's Spirit because He knows what is happening in your life and what is the best way for you to face and deal with any situation for your good and God's glory.

You Are Awesomely and Wonderfully Made

Posted By at Wednesday, July 16, 2014

Psalm 139:14 Living Bible Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! It is amazing to think about. Your workmanship is marvellous—and how well I know it.

I wonder if you know you are very special today. You are not an accident or a mistake at birth. God planned your life and you are rare, not a clone of somebody else. You are the only one of you that God made.

There is no one else in the whole universe like you. You are the only one with your own set of fingerprints. That's how our wonderful Father made each of us. We are separate and individual. No one has your smile, your eyes, your nose, your hands, or your voice. Even your handwriting [even when it is copied] is still individually yours. God has given you your own tastes in food, clothing, music etc.

Since the beginning of time there has never been another you. Your tears are your own and no one can reproduce them.

There may always be someone who can do something much better than you can but your combination of talent and ability are unique to you personally.

Through all eternity no one will ever walk, ever talk, act, or look like you completely.

You are so special in God's eyes and He says in Jeremiah 29:11 Jewish Bible For I know what plans I have in mind for you,’ says Adonai 'plans for well-being, not for bad things; so that you can have hope and a future.

So because you are special in God's sight and He has big plans for you don't try to be an imitation of someone else. Be the best you, you can be for Him.

Can you begin to see that God has a special purpose for you out of all the millions and billions of people on the earth? God has a special plan for your life so celebrate your uniqueness.

Psalm 40:5 Many, O Lord my God, are Your wonderful works which You have done; and Your thoughts toward us cannot be recounted to You in order; if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.

You were made to make a difference. God made you for a very special purpose. He has not forgotten you.

You will make that difference and you will fulfil your purpose. The Lord ordered your steps so stay very close to Him and do not be distracted. Remember, You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.

How to Make God's Word Work

Posted By at Wednesday, July 09, 2014

Today's Mid Week Faith Booster is from my booklet WORD FAITH WORKS. It's available from the office for just $10 post paid.

Isaiah 59:21 "As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the Lord; My spirit that is upon thee, and MY WORDS WHICH I have...PUT IN THY MOUTH, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed's seed, saith the Lord, from henceforth and forever."

John 14:10 "...the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works."

John 5:19 "...the Son can do nothing in himself, but what he seeth the Father do; for what things soever he doeth these also doeth the Son likewise."

James 1:5 "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask God, that giveth to all men liberally....and it shall be given him."

Luke 21:15 "For I will give you a MOUTH and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay or resist."

Romans 10:8 "But what saith it?  The word is nigh thee, even in thy MOUTH, and in thy heart that is, the word of faith, which we preach.

9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thin heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the MOUTH confession is made unto salvation."

The Lord makes it clear in His Word, that you need to begin to recognise and learn to speak His Word - not 'parrot fashion', but from the heart: "If thou shalt believe in this heart and confess with thy mouth...."

You see, it takes more than just 'parrot fashion' speaking - it must be God's way of speaking.

If your confession is wrong, it is because your thinking is wrong.  If your thinking is wrong, it is because your mind has not been renewed by the truth of God's Word.

Remember there is a heart and mouth connection. You BELIEVE in your heart and CONFESS with your mouth.

Walking By Faith in His Footsteps

Posted By at Wednesday, July 02, 2014

Because it requires faith to follow the Lord Jesus, most of the Christian experience does not make sense to the natural way of thinking. That's why Hebrews 11:6 says 'Without faith it's impossible to please God.'

Everything Jesus did when He was on the earth for 33 plus years had to be done by faith, He said in John 8:29 'And He who sent Me is with Me; He has not left Me alone, for I always do the things that are pleasing to Him.'

I recently read Charles Sheldon's book called IN HIS STEPS. A man made a real effort to walk in the steps of Jesus. Before going anywhere or doing anything or making any decision he asked himself "WHAT WOULD JESUS DO?" and then he tried to do the same thing.

Although in this day and age we might find that very difficult, it is a very good idea. A few years ago someone brought out a little wristband for Christian young people to wear with the letters WWJD [What Would Jesus Do] printed on them. The idea being that young people need to think about everything they do and check their actions against the Word of God to see if it agreed with the Bible.

That is a very good idea for every one of us reading this Blog today. All of us, no matter what our age should daily check our actions against God's written Word and make sure we conform to it in thought, word and deed. As Christians we are Christ's agents or representatives in the earth today and whether you believe it or not, your family and friends and neighbours are actually watching you to see how you act and react to the situations in your life. Those actions and reactions show your character.

The Apostle Paul says in writing to the Church in Colosse. [Remember they had not all seen him personally as he says in Colossians 2:1.]

So in Colossians 1:11-18 he says 11 strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy;

12 Giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.

13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the Kingdom of the Son of His love,

14 In whom we have redemption through His blood the forgiveness of sins.

15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.

16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.

17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.

18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the pre-eminence.

This week can I ask you how teachable are you? Are you willing to ask Father God to help you walk like Jesus walked by checking your decisions and choices against God's Word?

If you do make that choice I can guarantee you He will help you, every day, to walk in victory!
