The Secret to a Successful Life

Posted By at Wednesday, April 27, 2011

Proverbs 4:21 KJV “...keep the words in the midst of thine heart for they (the words) are life to those that find them and health to all their flesh.”

Keep God’s Word in your heart and refuse to meditate on anything else but Jesus (The Word).

Whatever you meditate on will reproduce:

Meditate on sickness it reproduces!

Meditate on poverty it reproduces!

Meditate on depression it reproduces!

Meditate on anger it reproduces!

Meditate on prosperity it reproduces!

Hebrews 12:2 “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of your faith....”

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

The New Covenant instruction is: let the Word dwell in you richly.

1 Corinthians 3:9 Living Bible “We are only God’s co-workers.  You are God’s garden, not ours; you are God’s building, not ours.”

You are God’s garden!  So what seeds are you sowing in your life?

Sow pumpkin seed you grow pumpkins

Sow beans you grow beans

Sow bitterness you grow bitterness

Sow sickness you grow sickness

Sow God’s Word you grow success, prosperity, health, life, etc.

If you want God-type fruit you must sow God-type seeds!

But devil-type seeds produce devil-type fruit!

Romans 6:13 “Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin:  but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.”

Whoever you yield your members to will dominate you!

Yield to God’s Word, and it will dominate you!

Ephesians 4:15 “But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things which is the head even Christ.”

Grow up into Christ in all things!

God said to meditate in His Word for success and prosperity!

If you are failing and broke it’s because you have not meditated in the Word!

Proverbs 23:7 “For as a man thinketh in his heart so is he....”

Have a wonderful week.

Victory in Christ Jesus!

Posted By at Wednesday, April 20, 2011

Because of the resurrection you can have victory in Jesus!

This is Easter week and on the coming Sunday we celebrate Easter day, the day of the resurrection when Jesus broke the power of death and rose victorious from the grave.

Ever since the fall of Adam in the Garden of Eden, God was unwilling to leave us in our sin because He wanted fellowship with man. So He had a plan—the plan of redemption. He gave His Son to pay the price for all our sins on the cross and so brought us back into fellowship with Himself. All scriptures either point forward to Calvary or look back at it. God sowed His Son so He could have us back as His harvest of sons and daughters.

Jesus redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us Gal. 3:13-14 shows. He not only paid the terrible price for what Adam did, but He broke the power of the curse and destroyed Satan's authority to use it on any of us who will walk by faith, who will walk in their purchased redemption.

We got the victory when Jesus paid the price! That is the stone-rolling away power of the resurrection. And that is more than enough to roll away any stone or problem you may have in your life today.

John 8.36 Him whom the Son sets free is free indeed.

Have a wonderful and blessed Easter.

Troubles May Come

Posted By at Wednesday, April 13, 2011

Sometimes troubles find there way into our lives, we can always count on our Heavenly Father for comfort, strength and guidance.   For God said; Psalm 50:15 Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.

Jesus said; John 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God believe also in Me.

So when you go through one of those trying times, why not ask God to comfort you?   He is waiting there with open arms to embrace you and to direct your pathway through any difficulty.  After all with God on your side who or what can harm you?

For it is written; 1 John 4.4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world

Therefore remember the words of our Jesus, for He said; John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

So turn your problems over to God, and let him guide your path, and don't let those troubles cause you another sleepless night!  For soon you will be saying; Psalm 4:8 I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; For You alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety.

Jesus said in John 16.33 Amplified Bible I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]

Have a wonderful week, one that is filled with Philippians 4.7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Jesus Came to Set You Free

Posted By at Wednesday, April 13, 2011

Are you free? Jesus was anointed to preach the message of FREEDOM

Luke 4.18-19 AMP The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me [the Anointed One, the Messiah] to preach the good news (the Gospel) to the poor; He has sent Me to announce release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to send forth as delivered those who are oppressed [who are downtrodden, bruised, crushed, and broken down by calamity],

19 To proclaim the accepted and acceptable year of the Lord [the day when salvation and the free favors of God profusely abound.

He told the people of His day that His Words would make them FREE. And it’s still the same today. The people had been so blinded by religion that they didn’t even know they were in bondage.

John 8:36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

Jesus was sent to preach the MESSAGE OF FREEDOM that God had promised to Abraham all those years ago. You can experience it today if you accept God’s Word into your life.

John 8.36 Him whom the Son sets free is free indeed.

The secret to Loving is Living the Love Life

Posted By at Wednesday, April 06, 2011

Does sometimes bumping into certain people leave you brittle, breakable, or testy? If so, your love may be grounded in the wrong soil. It may be rooted in your resolve to love (which is frail) instead of God’s love.

Sometimes peoples’ actions make us bristle and want to correct them all the time, when this happens start to think about Jesus, and how He deals with us when we do wrong.

How many times have you heard or said, "I love you because you always do the right thing”.

Our love is not only conditional it's fickle and subject to change. Often we love based on feelings and emotions that can change from one moment to the next.

John urges us to rely on the love God has for us.

I John 4:15-16 All who confess that Jesus is the Son of God have God living in them, and they live in God.

Verse 16 We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.

He alone is the source of all love so we need Him to be able to love others who cause us by their actions to want to re-act to them, instead of acting in love towards them.

Another great verse about God's love is found in Romans 5:8, But God commended his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

In this verse and also in John 3:16, God so loved us He sent Jesus to die for us; we find no conditions placed on God's love for us. God doesn't say, "as soon as you clean up your act, I'll love you;" nor does He say, "I'll sacrifice my Son if you promise to love Me."

In fact, in Romans 5:8, we find just the opposite. But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.

God wants us to know that His love is unconditional, so He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die for us while we were still unlovable sinners, doing things that displeased Him. We didn't have to get clean, and we didn't have to make any promises to God before we could experience His love. We didn’t have to clean up our act and become perfect before He loved us. His love for us has always existed, and because of that, He did all the giving and sacrificing long before we were even aware that we needed His love. We need to love others as He loved; so we forgive those who offend us because they think differently to us.

In the Sermon on the Mount Jesus taught that our lives must not be just an outward show – they are to be offered to God as a sweet smelling sacrifice. And it should never be the mechanical repetition of a formula - we are to please God our Father by our living and loving like Jesus.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jnr. said, "Forgiveness is not an occasional act; it is a permanent attitude."

For our own spiritual wellbeing, we must be quick to resolve our differences with anyone and be willing to forgive them without fuss and ado.

Satan can hinder our spiritual life, and even deceive us into getting no answers to our prayers because of harboured bitterness or un-forgiveness.

In Matt. 6.14 Jesus said: "For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you."

We should all learn to be the bigger person and be first to forgive and overlook the other person’s offence and thereby please our heavenly Father.
