Are You Getting Ready?

Posted By at Wednesday, March 30, 2011

Over the years I've noticed many people who have fallen away or become discouraged because, honestly, they did not keep the kingdom of God as the first priority of their lives. This includes Bible study, prayer, and church attendance. It also includes tithing or progressive giving, forgiveness, and staying hungry for the presence of God in a life. This is not God’s responsibility but ours individually.

We are living in the last of the last days. It is our responsibility to help bring it all to fulfilment at the end of the ages. Surely all the signs are in the sky, in the earth, and in the supernatural realm that the trumpet of the Lord could sound at any moment now.

Revelation 2:4 Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love.

Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.

I pray that you have not only prepared yourself for this great event but that you are getting everyone around you ready. May we all win more souls and bring home more prodigals than we ever have at any time in the Church. We cannot do it without trusting God and walking by faith, so let’s do it!

I pray you will continue to keep Jesus and His ministry first.

Our prayers are with you. Thanks for standing with us in these days.

Have a great week.

A Half Truth is a Whole Lie

I read that on a can of room freshener it said these words: Bring the clean, natural freshness of a country meadow indoors. It freshens the air in your home with a clean, back-to-nature scent as refreshing as the summer grass and the fragrant flowers.

Then in smaller print below it were these words: WARNING: Inhaling the contents can be harmful or fatal.

Those instructions remind me of some rhetoric coming from some of our politicians. That which smells sweet is not necessarily healthy. That which is popular is not necessarily the truth.

In John 8.32 Jesus said Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.

God’s Word is THE TRUTH, the WHOLE truth and nothing but the truth.

It may seem that your body is in pain today but THE TRUTH is you were healed 2000 plus years ago at Calvary.

In vs. 44-45 of John 8 Jesus spoke to the Pharisees on that day and said in Amplified Bible You are of your father, the devil, and it is your will to practice the lusts and gratify the desires [which are characteristic] of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a falsehood, he speaks what is natural to him, for he is a liar [himself] and the father of lies and of all that is false.

45 But because I speak the truth, you do not believe Me [do not trust Me, do not rely on Me, or adhere to Me].

Learn this truth today!

You are not the sick trying to get healed you are the healed and the devil is trying to make you confess you are the sick.

You are not the poor trying to make a dollar you are already blessed of God and the devil is trying to make you confess your lack and need.

Don’t accept half-truths just confess the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.

Faith That Believes God

Today’s study comes from my LEADERSHIP manual, which is available from this office.

The word ‘evangelism’ comes from a Greek word ‘evangelion’ which simply means "good news". What is this good news?

The good news is that Jesus Christ, God’s son, became our Lord and Saviour by dying for us on Calvary’s tree. Through His resurrection He purchased forgiveness of sin, freedom from satan’s power, healing for our spirits, souls, and bodies.

1 Tim 2:4 TPT He longs for everyone to embrace His life and return to the full knowledge of the truth.

Rom 10:14-15 LIV But how shall they ask him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them?

Verse 15 And how will anyone go and tell them unless someone sends him? That is what the Scriptures are talking about when they say, "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the Gospel of peace with God and bring glad tidings of good things." In other words, how welcome are those who come preaching God's Good News!

At this end of the age the task of world evangelism is still far from over. God has commissioned us as a ministry and also all the saints to 'go'.

Matt 28:18-20 KJV And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, "All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen."

This is the Great Commission of Jesus to His Church and it has not been done yet! So many missionaries go out onto the mission field and after a few months they come home again because they have not been taught how to fend off diseases and overcome financial needs by having a faith that believes God’s Word.
