Victory In Christ!

John 16:33 Amplified Bible I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]

1 Cor 15:57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Cor 2:14 Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.

When faced with difficult times in life and things look hopeless, we can do one of two things. We can try to overcome them all in our own power or strength or intellect.

Or we can surrender them to the Lord Jesus Christ and let Him turn the obstacles and problems into victory for us.

1 Peter 5:7 AMP Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully.

We must learn to trust Him completely.

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.

Faith means to actively believe what God has said in His Word, to trust and rely on Him. He will never get involved in our life without our invitation. He is just waiting for us to ask Him for help.

Psalm 34:17 The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles.

We need to know God is BIGGER than any problem we will ever face in our life.

1 John 4:4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

The more our every day life aligns with Jesus [The Word] the greater and more victorious that life will be, for ourselves and those around us. When we call out to the Lord Jesus Christ for help, we are acknowledging He is our Lord and the strength and salvation of our life!

Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in time of trouble.

Psalm 107:28 Then they cry out to the Lord in their trouble and He brings them out of their distresses.
